Director, Ad Product Integration

  • Oversee all digital ad integration efforts maintaining a strong point of view on how to meet our core NBCU business and sales goals.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to draw out business requirements and deliver capabilities through a collaborative working model.
  • Manage risk & mitigation strategies, relaying back complex ideas to senior management to drive decision making on high profile integration projects.
  • Work cross functionally to ensure flawless execution of our integrations.
  • Lead Quarterly Planning sessions for project intake
  • Maintain and adjust the Ad Product & Integrations team processes to ensure success for our team and for our clients.
  • Maintain an understanding of trends in advertising and technology .
  • Maintain an active and visible role in the ad-tech ecosystem to identify the best potential partners and lead a vetting process where opportunities exist, playing an active role with the IAB and other relevant industry groups.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience working in the digital media space, ideally with a premium publisher or ad tech company
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Demonstrated analytical skills to create insights and improve products
  • Deep knowledge of the digital advertising landscape as it relates to display and video ad serving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to create presentations & present effectively to different audiences – technical, senior leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of employees across the business, including our most senior leaders.
  • Strong technical background and advanced Knowledge of ad-serving technologies: DART/DFP, FreeWheel, Third Party Servers, HTML, JavaScript, mobile, video, email advertising, Native, Salesforce and Project Management a plus.
  • Ability to conceptualize issues, quickly develop solutions, and implement action plans
  • Experience with using Jira or similar system to track and maintain feature requirements and development progress
  • Adept at organizing multiple projects at once
  • Tremendous listening skills and attention to detail

The Ad Product and Integrations Team leads the strategy and development of NBCU’s advertising experiences at scale across our 30+ websites, mobile apps, distributors and partners for both display and video. We create the revenue-driving tools and products that drive revenue for our digital business.
