Do you love to bring ideas to life? We are looking for you to support the implementation of Vanguard’s employment marketing strategy. Using your strong grasp of job-seeker behavior, you’ll build awareness of the Vanguard employee value proposition and brand in the employment marketplace and support its consistent representation across all talent attraction and recruiting activities.

How will you spend your day:

As an Employment Marketing Specialist you’ll work with Recruiters, Recruiting Managers, Hiring Managers, and Regional University Recruiting Specialists to coordinate all marketing campaigns and recommend creative ways to increase the strength of the brand, ensuring that advertisements and attraction campaigns are utilized in the right venues. You will partner with internal stakeholders to conceptualize, develop and deploy engaging marketing campaigns on college campuses.

In addition to the marketing strategy, you’ll keep up-to-date with media trends and analyze the effectiveness and potential risks of media in support of recruiting, including top sources leading to hire, source yield, source of high performers and time-to-hire and monitor the success of media-driven talent attraction strategies suggesting improvements as necessary.

Qualifications

  • An undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Minimum of three years of general business experience.
  • Experience in social media marketing.
  • Experience in the deployment and implementation of talent attraction strategies preferred.
  • Understanding of HR policies and processes.
  • Knowledge of marketing channels including social media.
  • Knowledge of corporate recruiting and talent attraction.
  • Proven teamwork capabilities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning and organizational skills.
  • Attentive to details and deadlines; ability to manage multiple initiatives.
  • Ability to effectively work independently and identify when to engage others.
