Digital Marketing Manager

Outsource Consultants is seeking an energetic and passionate digital marketing candidate that enjoys collaborating with others and maintains accountability in running their own marketing department. You will work closely with the President and have the opportunity to bring new ideas and implement approved strategies in the marketing department and overall organization.

Position Overview: This position is responsible for developing, organizing, and managing Outsource Consultants’ digital marketing efforts and initiatives with the skills to manage multiple ongoing tasks. In this capacity, the Digital Marketing Manager administers social media marketing efforts, blog creation, and posting strategy, works with external digital marketing agencies on creating and implementing PPC/SEM and SEO strategies, as well as a variety of other tasks. Must be able to work independently within policies and procedures.

This metrics-oriented role will have an opportunity to submit creative marketing concepts while gaining an understanding of the call center industry and methods used in business-to-business and inbound marketing.

DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES

35% Email and Blogging:

  • Responsible for managing Outsource Consultants’ online marketing platform (HubSpot).
  • Creation of Calls-to-Action, Newsletters, Email Blasts, Landing Pages, and Content Offers.
  • Creating blog article concepts and then writing copy to bring the blog article to life.

25% PPC/SEM and SEO:

  • Working with external digital marketing agencies and providing oversight on the below PPC/SEM and SEO responsibilities.
  • PPC: Keyword research, ad copy creation, conversion rate optimization and the review and analysis of performance metrics using Google Analytics and other reporting tools.
  • SEO: Working with SEO vendors on calls and tasks, keyword research, content editing and approval, inbound linking, technical SEO, local optimization, social media, and analysis of website performance.

20% Social Media:

  • Manage social media marketing initiatives – updating social channels (LinkedIn, Google+, Twitter, Facebook) with new content and daily posts, developing and implementing content strategies, and analysis of efforts.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all channels.

10% Website Updates:

  • Update company WordPress website with basic copy/content updates and work with a programmer on any advanced website revisions, updates, or issues.

10% Other:

  • Evaluate advertising opportunities in print and digital media.
  • Maintain a clean and organized office and working space.
  • Responsible for reporting and analytics, including data analysis, updating dashboards and creating monthly performance reports (Google and Bing Analytics/AdWords).
  • Maintain knowledge of the call center industry to create marketing content appropriately.
  • Develop, update, and manage marketing materials such as brochures and company info sheets.
  • Prepare and create materials for conferences and events.
  • Assist sales team with Product Descriptions and drafting sales related content.
  • Manage and develop third party relationships.

EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES

Administrative Experience:

  • 5+ years proven digital marketing experience.
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience with project and task management.
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience creating digital marketing content.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • College Degree (BA or BS preferred).
  • Proven copywriting, blogging and editing experience.

Technical Experience:

  • Proficiency with Mac OS platforms and Internet/PC.
  • Experience with marketing CRM software such as Zoho and/or HubSpot marketing automation software.
  • Strong database skills and technical understanding of website architecture and mobile platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience with high efficiency and accuracy of typing and word processing.
  • Advanced MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Mail, and Calendar experience.
  • Experience with telephone systems, Skype, conference calling, and conference room set up.
  • Experience working with Google Analytics and understanding key metrics driving performance
