DevOps Engineer for PX Cloud

What You’ll Do

In this mid-entry technical role you will be accountable to develop Infra code, use the CI/CD tools and help achieve Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and Deployment.

Who You’ll Work With

You’ll be working side by side with engineers looking for opportunities to drive engineering & product management productivity improvements. Executive management will work directly with you on ways to extract information from the end to end system, enabling a transparent environment. You will engage with technical leaders & architects to evaluate modern third-party software versus building the capabilities in-house. Most importantly, you will work with extraordinary peers that you can rely on.

You are looked to as the leader of our tools with a goal to ensure the tools are the last thing anyone worries about. While you have quite a bit of knowledge of how things work, you also are humbled by how those with different perspectives add incredible value to your work.

You skill set include :
Expert level knowledge in CI/CD tools – Circle CI, Flux

Well versed with tools like Atlantis

Systems-level thinker; you consider where a problem should be solved, no just how.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.

Willingness to lead and do; while this is an individual contributor role, you will be responsible for taking the initiative to drive your own projects to completion, as well as ensuring the success of those who you are building for.

Expertise and experience in delivering large-scale systems using cloud technologies including but not limited to public cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure & AWS.

Well versed with engineering, QA and technical operations practices with agile application development and delivery vehicles.

8+ years’ experience with software development. We build repeatable systems through automation

8+ years’ experience with “DevOps” or infrastructure-as-code tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or Terraform

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, CIS, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent fields
