Devops Engineer

Responsibilities

Design and implement tooling to do unit, integration and system tests

Design and implement process to do continuous integration and deployments

Design and implement tooling to do continuous integration in the various development environments (Jira, GIT, Jenkins)

Design and implement configuration management for all environments

Design and implement tools to automate deployment promotion from one environment to the next

Design and implement mechanisms for feedback on code, performance and errors from the deployment targets

Minimum qualifications

7+ years combined experience in DevOps and operations roles

Ability to work, collaborate, brainstorm and solve problems in a cross functional environment

2+ years experience in advanced deployment technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, virtualization)

2+ years experience with Jira

2+ years experience with Jenkins

2+ years experience with GIT

2+ years experience in managing production deployments

5+ years experience in scripting (perl, bash, python, php)

3+ years experience with configuration management tools (chef, puppet, ansible)

3+ years experience in systems administration

2+ years experience in managing production systems (networking, load balancers, large scale deployment)

Sound written and verbal communication skills

Preferred qualifications

2+ years experience in cloud providers (AWS, google, azure, etc)

2+ years experience in full continuous deployment
