Description

Perform design layouts of equipment.

Develop all information necessary for the operation manuals of all of the equipment designed.

Assist in component selection.

Act as liaison with shop on design problems.

Handle special design projects requiring rough layouts and hand sketches.

Perform basic engineering analysis under supervision of an Engineer.

Determine the types of drawings and packages required to suit the production process, and the engineering drawing system.

Provide checking assistance for compliance to engineering requirements based on layouts, sketches, marked-up prints and verbal instructions.

Complete the layout of equipment for fit and function; under the guidance of assigned supervisor.

Create details, weldments and assembly drawings from layouts, marked-up prints, sketches and verbal instructions.

Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, procedures and programs, including but not limited to the process map, support processes, safety and environmental requirements.

Portray positive company attitude.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

College level studies in science and mathematics preferred.

Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Good communication skills and work as part of a team

Reliable transportation

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and practices required.
