Are you a maker of killer creative and distinctly inspired designs? Do you twitch at s l o p p y kerning? Do you have a longing to wear lots of (stylish) creative hats? Maybe a direct mail hat, a store POP one, branding perhaps? Can you throw in a dash of digital design, a sprinkle of content creation … and a touch of video editing? If this sounds like it jumped off your profile, we’re looking for you! We’re a smallish, super-scrappy creative team in need of a like-minded graphic designer to join our mission of delivering Beauty For Everyone.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualizes designs and produces appealing and compelling print materials including direct mail, in-store signage, etc. Conceptualizes designs and produces digital materials including emails, web banners, etc.
• Develops innovative concepts and approaches to the design of marketing materials. Drives new approaches to design challenges.
• Responsible for ensuring all materials fit within the requirements of the assignment at hand as well as the overarching brand positioning, tone and look and feel and meet the goals of clear communication hierarchy of the messaging – always keeping the customer at the center of their design work.
• Troubleshoots and provides innovative solutions to design and production issues to ensure that all pieces are high quality.
• Manage and prioritize projects while paying close attention to detail.
• Knowledge of type design and layout best practices.
• Mentors and advises Junior Designers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or related graphic arts degree with strong design portfolio
• 5+ years graphic design experience
• Proficient in and strong hands-on working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite in a MAC environment
• Experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro is a plus
• Innovative thinker
• Ability to multi-task with accuracy
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills in order to work closely with other members of marketing and other departments
