JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re seeking an Intern Designer to join our Boulder, CO office with a passion for finding, shaping, and enhancing actionable insights and consumer-facing concepts through visual representation. This new teammate should have demonstrable Graphic Design experience and have the capability to assist Strategists in the creation of graphics supporting our work for major brands.

THE ROLE

The position will work with Egg’s Senior Leadership as well as the Operations, Brand Strategy and Innovation teams to support creative input for the advancement of client business. To be successful, this individual must be highly creative and visually articulate, able to turn data and insights into compelling visual stories and concepts.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone to:

• Provide concept design support for consumer-focused outputs including: packaging illustrations, consumer journey maps, brand books and manifestos, concept illustrations, etc.
• Assist with the creative development of high-level and detailed reports that are conducive to insightful brand, consumer, and business strategies
• Maintain quality control protocols throughout the design process. Knowledge of working between file types and mediums is paramount for this role
• Offer general design support for the strategy team across three offices
• Provide concept design support by live sketching at innovation and brainstorming sessions

THE REQUIREMENTS

• B.S. or B.F.A. degree in Design, Graphic Design, Advertising, or other related area of study
• Design experience to including a variety of mediums such as presentations, web, print, email, etc.
• Proven knowledge of and experience with both print and digital design
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact and liaise effectively with internal teams and potentially clients, vendors, and marketing groups to ensuring excellence in results
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office programs to demonstrate the ability to work across file types
• A personality that gets excited helping our clients grow top brands through brand strategy, consumer insights, analysis and innovation with visual storytelling
• Flexible and adaptable while maintaining a positive attitude
• A fresh, independent, and creative thinker that works well with teams
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Demonstration of “thinking beyond the task”: What’s the big idea, how will we find it, what’s

the real answer to the question being asked?

• Organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple duties
• Design Strategy knowledge or training a plus
