The company offers a great work-life balance and a competitive compensation package that includes tuition reimbursement.Design Engineer Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering5+ years design engineering experienceKnowledge of MRP systemsCompetent in Microsoft Office Suite and OutlookBroad mechanical backgroundDesign Engineer Responsibilities: Develop of concepts and existing productsImprove current products performance and qualityWork with customers and suppliers and integrate with Marketing, Sales and Project Management Make design layouts of products in Creo Parametric Perform finite elemental analysis through computer simulation Produce detail engineering and assembly drawings for manufacturing, testing and verification Work with manufacturing team to ensure that designs are manufacturalHelp Tooling Technicians in design of tooling for new product at prototype stageWork with purchasing to source and purchase parts for prototype equipmentSupport production and quality systems worldwide in the design of systemsProduce test procedures, reportsMake designs simple and easy to maintain providing high quality functionPerform finite analysisAnalyze and solve technical problems and provide solutions in a timely mannerInvestigate new technologies or existing technologiesProvides information to Engineering Management by providing written status reports on progress; collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsContributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results in a cooperative and supportive mannerTerms: This is a direct hire position that pays up to $65k, based on experience.
