Design Associate

EQ3 is an imaginative leader in creative furniture and accessory design. We are seeking extraordinary individuals for a full time positon as Design Associate to be part of our high-energy Retail teams in our Emeryville location. These individuals will be working five days a week, including nights and weekends, to provide professional sales excellence to EQ3 customers, to generate ‘customer satisfaction and increase EQ3 sales results. 1 year experience in a like position or a degree in a related field required.

• Individual has ability to work as a team and meet individual sales goals
  
• Position requires a self-motivated individual and someone who is excited to learn about our unique brand
  
• Ability to promote company’s product and services without being pushy or aggressive
  
• Continuous on the job training to be expected
  
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (both oral and written) required
  
• Able to lift product that could weigh up to 40 lbs. and work long periods standing or walking

Duties…

• Assist customers with product selection with a friendly and positive attitude
  
• Exhibit product knowledge and expressing reasonable expectations to all clients
  
• Ability to problem solve, take initiative in a retail setting
  
• Network with clients and designers once a positive in-store relationship is developed
  
• Follows up with clients in order to ensure product satisfaction
  
• Managing client’s orders
  
• Showroom maintenance and ability to multi-task on a daily basis
  
• Develop excellent client relations to ensure the best in-store experience possible is had with every visit
