Deputy Program Manager
Key Role:

Work directly with the program manager (PM) to oversee program management, including assisting with developing program management plans. Write monthly status reports, assist with project status review meetings, and assist with manpower reporting, as directed by the PM. Lead an in-place management team and anticipate and track future requirements in technical discussions with DoD personnel and Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) or Automatic Test systems (ATS) providers. Oversee coordination with teaming partners and vendors. Ensure processes are in line with ISO 9001 Quality Management processes, identify risks and budget for mitigation actions, and lead the team through all phases, including concept, development, implementation, and closeout. Oversee the work breakdown structure, critical path, and change control. Supervise staff, manage budget, schedules, and operations, ensure that required resources are available, and serve as a liaison with the program, client, team members, and other stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience as a program or project manager

-Experience with government contracting and procurement processes

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

-Experience with Microsoft Project

-Experience with analytical problem-solving

-Ability to present ideas clearly and logically

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-PMP Certification or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with building and maintaining relationships and collaborating with stakeholders to build consensus

-Experience in working with Automated Test Systems (ATS) a plus

-Knowledge of defense acquisition directives, including DoDD 5000.01 and DoDD 5000.02

-Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) processes

-Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in Management, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field preferred
