Deposit Account Services Representative

  • Purpose: Performs a variety of duties within Deposit Account Services. Provides a wide range of support to Deposit Operations Manager and other Bank departments. This position interacts with customers and employees throughout the bank. Responsible for monitoring and processing items related to the Deposit Operations of the Bank. Adhere to policies and procedures of the Bank. Maintain confidentiality of Bank records. Responsibilities:

    • Receive and respond to customer and branch staff requests to resolve account inquires and issues to resolve concerns efficiently.
    • Monitor and report all Reg D Excessive Withdrawals according to the policy.
    • Monitor and Review B-Notice/Backup Withholding
    • Maintain and disperse New Account Spreadsheet
    • Process Brokered/Non-brokered CD’
    • Provide administrative and maintenance support for Individual Retirement Accounts
    • Responsible for administering EFTPS/945 tax reporting
    • Administer the Return mail contacts and Hold mail reviews
    • Review and administer duplicate file merges
    • Responsible for scanning and indexing Deposit account documentation
    • Exception item processing, including handling of unposted items, NSF items, Positive Pay items and stops
    • Process return deposit items and cash items
    • Monitor and close delinquent accounts, per policy, including initiating delinquent notices and reporting.
    • Responsible for reporting ChexSystems, to include reporting charge-off accounts and handling disputes.
    • Process daily ACH Exceptions Item processing
    • Process all deposit account Subpoenas and levies
    • Statement processing
    • Escheat processing
    • Compiles the overdraft report for Directors
    • Cross train on other jobs in Deposit Account Services –
    • Accepts and accomplishes special projects and other duties as assigned.
    • Responsible for compliance with all regulations, laws, and bank policies and procedures that pertain to your day-to-day job responsibilities.
    • Responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of all compliance regulations pertinent to your assigned duties by successful completion of any courses assigned on a timely basis.
    • Responsible for adherence to BrandBank’s Code of Professional Ethics and Conduct as well as observing and promoting compliance with the Code among fellow bank personnel, customers and vendors

  • Two or more years banking experience, preferably in Operations
  • High School diploma
