Debt Collection Compliance Auditor

Rent Recovery Solutions is a growing national third-party debt collection agency.

We’re looking for a full-time Debt Collection Compliance Auditor to handle the following responsibilities:

• Respond to E-Oscar ACDVs by conducting meaningful reinvestigation at the client, lettering, and notating the account as required by law
• Perform E-Oscar deletions as necessary
• Notate and adminstrate accounts on the basis of compliance action taken.
• Respond to debtor correspondence by conducting meaningful reinvestigation at the client and lettering and notating the account as required by law
• Respond to regulatory complaints from the CFPB and other agencies and to respond meaningfully to BBB complaints
• Interface with regulatory agencies as required
• Keeping meticulous records of compliance efforts

The experience we’re looking for is as follows:

• Managerial or administrative work in the collection or other finance industry — 3-4 years
• Familiarity with FDCPA and FCRA
• Experience with the E-Oscar system
• Precious interfacing with regulatory agencies such as the CFPB, the FTC, Secretaries of State, Attorneys General, and other collection rule-making bodies
• Proven track record of handling very heavy case loads and working occasional long hours on a salary basis.
• The ability to learn quickly
