Location: Portland, OR

• Experience and hands on with Database Administration.
• The position is directly responsible in requirements gather, Data designed and Architecture and client communication.
• The primary focus of this role is the ongoing and future development of the new and current.
• Ability to document business and system processes, creating process diagrams and troubleshooting paths.
• Advanced problem solving capability in being able to get to root cause of the problem.
• Ability to multitask, handle ambiguity, as well as taking charge of tasks and leading them to completion while meeting required due dates.
• Concise writing skills; articulate speaking skills.
• Facilitate meetings and document outcome.
• Ability to estimate completion dates based on requirements.
• Experience in developing use cases, functional specs, design specs, ERDs etc.
• Knowledge of software development life cycles.
• Rapid learning ability in learning new software and interfaces.
• Assembles and presents recommendations for review/approval.
• Performs above functions with little/no supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8 years of Database Administration and Data Analysis experience.
• Experience in MS SQL Server, Ervin tool, including Visio
• Multiple OS platform interface experience
• Should have excellent Communication Skills as this position requires direct customer & business interaction on daily basis

Preferred technical experience –

• Extensive experience with Data Analysis, SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedure and Triggers/cursors
• experienced working with Databases like DB2 and Oracle.
• knowledge of Various Data modeling techniques and processes
• Experience with using DW-BI in conjunction within Data Warehouse
• ETL development using Turbo Integrator / Informatica
• Experience in Reporting using Cognos and Tableau.
• Knowledge of planning and forecasting functions and business processes
