Supervisor: Vice President, Strategic Revenue Services

Status: Full-Time, Exempt Position Summary: As a member of the Strategic Revenue Services Department, the Data Specialist will support business analytic and software development projects with technical execution, direction, and assistance. The Strategic Revenue Services Department provides the Giants organization business strategy, analytics, and reporting. Areas of particular interest are product development and pricing and customer information management. Position Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, support and enhances software applications and data integrations that contribute to the Giants’ business objectives primarily focused on Data Warehouse development and process automation

Work with business process owners to understand the business need and develop technical solutions that integrate existing and future applications into the organization’s information systems

Provide data management expertise to the company by evaluating requirements and developing solutions

Build integrations between key data sources such as Salesforce, ProVenue, MLB, StubHub, and the data warehouse

Manage analytical warehouse environment

Identify opportunities to improve our business information and our data strategies

Provide reliable data environment for reporting and analytics

Team with CRM Manager and Business Analytics Manager to innovate business processes and solutions

Desired Qualifications:
2-4 years relevant experience in data management and /or analytics.

Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages (Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, etc).

Experience with API based integrations

Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, or related field with record of strong academic achievement

Excellent analytical skills – must be able to work independently with large amounts of data and drill down to relevant information for analysis

Strong people skills and the ability to drive interdepartmental team projects

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and support multiple departments

Demonstrated knowledge of and interest in the landscape of sports business
