Data Integration Engineer – Contract

Talent Savant is looking for a Data Integration Engineer to help a leading technology company convert business-critical pipelines from legacy python systems to java. This is a 4 to 6 month contract.

Salary is $55.00 – $65.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:
Build new data pipelines to support business critical work including product management workflows and core operations workflows.

Deploy, improve, and maintain highly available, scalable, and monitored systems and services.

Identify and automate common tasks that slow down development.

Qualifications:
B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Math, Physics, or equivalent experience

Proficiency in Java and its corresponding build tools, Python experience also a plus

Experience working with AWS or another cloud provider

Experience managing and developing highly-available and distributed software

Exposure to infrastructure-as-code frameworks like Terraform, Nomad, CloudFormation
