Data Integration Developer (Python)

As a Python Data Integration Developer, you will have a critical role to create new software as well as maintain created systems. You must have the ability to take on projects and areas of responsibility and own them with minimal supervision.

Our ideal candidate is self-sufficient, intelligent, and reliable. We are looking for someone who double checks their work, and even when they think it is 100% accurate, goes back to review it one more time. Also, it is important to be funny (we all love to laugh here at ChartSpan).

Core Skills Required

Python (Entry level applicants are welcome! As long as you have completed coursework in Python, and can pass a basic Python proficiency test, you are a great candidate.)

Must be excited about manipulating data (parsing, confirming completeness and correctness, etc.)

The ability to recognize patterns and minute details within data.

Detail oriented with a reputation for accuracy.

Hyper critical of sensitive data.

Self-starter, highly motivated, and able to learn independently.

What does a day in the life of a Data Integration Developer at ChartSpan look like? We’re glad you asked! The majority of your time will be spent doing data manipulation. This includes, but is not limited to:

Sanitize and normalize data provided by multiple sources.

Parse the data accordingly.

Confirm the correctness of the data by triple-checking your work.

Generate files/reports required for the business and business elements.

Build a new Django web service for internal applications.

Pulling medical records from client’s EHR.

This job will require you to spend 100% of your time working from our corporate headquarters in downtown Greenville, South Carolina. It is mandatory you live within the Greenville region.
