Data Entry Buyer I – Full-time Weekday

Currently seeking an entry level Data Entry Buyer I. This position is a full time position, but it will start out on a 30-90 day probationary period at $10 an hour as we assess your skills and long-term fit. Interested candidates should be proficient on a computer.

We are a small start-up located in St. Louis City that has about 20 employees. We have been going strong for 9 years. We are growing and need to hire a few part-time employees to cover some night and especially weekend shifts.

Duties of the Data Entry Buyer I:

• Follow our system of entering data in an efficient manner.

• Learn to troubleshoot & work independently over time.

• Learn other computer-based tasks depending upon skill level.

• Communication with supervisor on duty.

Requirements of the Data Entry Buyer I:

• Ability to balance careful attention to details & fast data entry

• Proficient on a Windows based desktop or laptop computer.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Drive Spreadsheets.

We want someone who won’t hesitate to ask plenty of questions early on and thus attain a knowledgeable grasp of the position during the training process and then later will continue to ask questions when needed, but will be able to work independently.
