Data Analyst - Nephrology

The Division of Nephrology is seeking a Data Analyst to provide analytic and project support for the Renal Transplant Outcomes Initiative.

The applicant will provide statistical support for the Renal Transplant Outcomes Initiative. Design, develop and manage large scale, big data-driven models. Document, implement, maintain and/or recommend operating methods to improve processing, distribution, data flow, collection, database editing procedures. Communicate complex concepts and the results of analyses in a clear and effective manner. Contribute to the writing and preparation of grant applications, including the organization of pilot data. Assist with data quality-related activities as needed. Attend all required team meetings on a regular basis. Perform other duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications for Grade

Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education, training and experience, plus two years of related experience required.

Additional Position-Specific Minimum Qualifications

Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant

Master’s degree in epidemiology, biostatistics or a relevant field of study would substitute for experience. Advanced knowledge in one or more of the following analytic languages: SAS (preferred), STATA, SPSS, or R.
