Data Analyst:

Carlisle & Company offers exciting opportunities for Data Analysts to be engaged in global challenges in the motor vehicle industry, and to contribute to a growing company. As a Data Analyst in our firm, you are responsible for managing our aftersales performance benchmark database. This position involves developing and maintaining our data collection and validation systems, as well as ensuring the accuracy of the client-provided benchmark data itself.

Key responsibilities :

• Maintaining and enhancing our data collection and analysis systems, which are based on IBM Cognos TM1 software.
• Ensuring the high quality of our aftersales benchmark datasets.
• Designing analyses using spreadsheets, database tools, statistical and visualization packages in order to meet project goals.
• Conducting analyses utilizing assumption testing and sensitivity analysis.
• Gathering research by conducting primary and secondary research and interpreting survey results.
• Summarizing research findings.
• Authoring client presentations and other deliverables.
• Interacting directly with clients to ensure compliance with data specifications.

Minimum requirements :

• A Bachelor’s degree within a discipline requiring a strong analytical aptitude such as: engineering, finance, economics or STEM.
• Up to two years of professional experience in automotive industry, inventory management, warehouse management, logistics or supply chain, preferred but not required.
• Outstanding analytical abilities.
• High degree of inquisitiveness.
• Superior attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills are required; Access database experience is helpful.
• Familiarity with Visual Basic and software coding experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with SQL and/or statistical packages is preferred.
• Willingness to self-teach as you will be the internal expert for some tools and analytical techniques.
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
• A professional demeanor.
• Some travel is required.
