JOB SUMMARY

Cresco Labs is seeking a Data Analyst to join our growing team at our Joliet facility. As a Data Analyst for Cresco Labs, you will be responsible for aggregating and analyzing data, working closely with manufacturing/production operations and manufacturing quality teams, as well as working with business intelligence tools to produce information for business decisions. A successful applicant must possess high attention to detail, strong analytical skills, advanced excel knowledge, and a desire to work in a fast pace environment.

CORE JOB DUTIES

  • Ability to analyze, aggregate, and interpret data across multiple disciplines
  • Work collaboratively with Manufacturing/Production Operations and Manufacturing Quality teams
  • Areas of analytical focus: cultivation, environmental conditions, manufacturing/production, logistics, order fulfillment, quality assurance/control, headcount models
  • Interpret data, analyze results and provide ongoing reports
  • Build and use predictive modeling to drive decision-making
  • Develop data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Acquire data, clean data, prepare data for analytics, and maintain databases and data systems
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Filter data by reviewing reports, printouts, and performance indicators
  • Ability to summarize complex data and communicate with senior management
  • Work with operations and sales teams to prioritize business and information needs
  • Discover and define new processes for improvement and opportunities

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or operations data-related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel knowledge
  • Experience with programming language (r, Python, SQL)
  • Past experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Domo, Tableau or Sisense preferred
  • Past experience with data ETL (Extract Transform Load) preferred
  • Past experience with data governance, e.g. best practices, training, etc. preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and communicate data and information with attention to detail and accuracy

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • No criminal history
  • Must pass all required background checks
  • Must remain compliant with all legal and company regulations for the industry
  • Experience in healthcare, agriculture, logistics, or CPG industry preferred but not required
