Essential Job Functions:

  • Development of business process layout based on interviews with business process/engineering subject matter experts.
  • Experience with Visio or similar software with mapping of processes and development of process improvements.
  • Identification of inputs/outputs/waste/metrics.
  • Development of pseudocode for stakeholder review.
  • Conceptual layout of reports and data driven alerts.
  • Ability to determine labor and time scope of proposed efforts.
  • Interface with multiple disciplines both internally and with suppliers and customers
  • Comply with applicable UTC procedures and treat all documentation as UTAS Proprietary

Secondary Job Functions:

  • Support project owners and program managers to quote work packages and new business opportunities.
  • Participate in technical reviews within your knowledge base to accurately close work packages.
  • Develop work instructions to implement best practices / lessons learned and ensure repeatability.
  • Collaborate, mentor, and train other QuEST team members.

Qualifications

  • Microsoft Dynamics (CRM development) required.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required.
  • Experience with SharePoint 2015 development of libraries, forms and workflows.
  • Experience with Visio or similar software.
  • Ability to build connections via web services and write queries using Fetch XML/SQL statements.
  • Experience creating reports and migrating data using Microsoft Business Intelligence software (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS).
  • Understanding of permissions management and export control, with respect to technical data and International Trade Compliance.
  • Ability to develop software from defined engineering calculations and process workflows using VBA, C#, Python, Matlab/Mathcad.
  • Functional competency in HTML/ JavaScript/CSS.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to work with subject matter experts and seek cross-functional alliances.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem solving skills are required.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, passionate, and organized.
