Responsibilities

• Develop pricing strategies and tactics to optimize margins by reducing costs of supply or pricing products appropriately
• Support the development of new pricing tools, policies to drive efficiencies and improve capabilities and scalability of dynamic pricing
• Analyze transactions, product and customer profitability to identify opportunities to improve performance and drive growth in sales
• Develop pricing, customer and product segmentation to drive pricing policies and strategy execution
• Monitor and track effectiveness of pricing tactics and recommend adjustments to WFS business processes as appropriate
• Provide monthly and quarterly executive summaries of the effectiveness of WFS yield management activities and updates on projects and initiatives
• Organize and develop data-based analytics to support recommendations and tracking/monitoring of solutions
• Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of pricing tools and technologies.
• Coordinate the acquisition of external and internal data to support business strategies and tactics
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities

Skills & Experience

• Experience conducting financial and market research and analysis using data and presenting finds in written and oral format
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once
• Experience communicating across all levels of an organization and strong presentation skills
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Able to extract and manipulate large data sets (knowledge of SAS, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, R and/or Visual Basic highly desirable)
• Prior experience in a pricing, yield management, finance or revenue management function highly desirable
• Comfortable working in a fast changing environment and on projects with ambiguous goals and scope
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Analytics, Economics, Finance, Business, Operations Research, Financial/Economic Engineering or Industrial Engineering
• Prior experience in the energy market (midstream, power or natural gas)) highly desirable
• MBA desirable
