Customer Service Rep (M-F, 8a-9p)

Premier Technical Services Corporation Center of Excellent Call Center is hiring Call Center Representatives (CSRs) for full-time opportunities for our large state-of-the art Call Center facility near Bossier City La, 71111. You must have 2+ years of Call Center Representative experience to apply.

*** You must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance which includes a criminal background check, verification of U.S. citizenship, and a positive credit check.***

You must be flexible to work a full time 8.5 hour shift schedule between the hours of 7am to 8pm, Monday thru Friday.

Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate fluency in English. The position will be supporting a large federal government contract and immediate CSRs are needed to answer high volume in-bound calls. The CSRs will be providing support for an informational hotline that receives calls from the general public to answer questions on government programs.

The qualified candidate will be handling incoming customer service phone calls professionally, providing “world class” customer service along with accurate and appropriate information to every caller. Must have excellent attendance and be able to control customer call time.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidates must have worked in a fast paced environment answering phones and responding to customer questions.
  • Offer superb telephone etiquette and have solid vocabulary and math skills.
  • Must be fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and 30 wpm keyboarding is required.
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Demonstrated job stability and customer service work experience in any field is necessary.

The Call Center is a 24 hour/7 days per week operation requiring candidates to be able to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Candidates must be available to work a 2nd shift schedule.

Must be able to pass an extensive background check and a hair follicle drug analysis. Must also be able to provide proof of education and work history.

Answers incoming phone calls on behalf of client; provides accurate and appropriate information to callers.

Places outbound customer service or customer satisfaction calls, as required by client.

Completes call guides; gathers and verifies required information.

Attends telephone skills and program information training sessions; adheres to established levels of service.

Adheres to established customer service and documentation standards within required time frames.

Adheres to contact center scheduling, ensures telephone coverage during contact center hours of operation.

Performs clerical or administrative duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma

Two (2) or more years of customer service or other telephone experience

Experience working with fax machines, computer software, and telephone technology

Other Qualifications

Previous call center industry background highly preferred

Must be able to obtain and maintain government security clearance; pass drug screen, credit/criminal background check

(English) Required – Must be able to read in English.

Position pays $11.32/hour $.80/hour differential added for Bilingual. Position starts on Monday, June 24, 2013. You must be flexible to work a full time 8.5 hour shift schedule between the hours of 7am to 8pm, Monday thru Friday.
