The Dedham-Westwood Water District is a non-profit, locally controlled public water system. The District was created by the Massachusetts legislature in 1985 to operate as a self-supporting unit of local government to provide Dedham and Westwood residents with high quality water. In our continuing efforts to maintain a safe and dependable water supply, we continually make efforts to improve the water system. Our water sources are at the heart of the community, our way of life and our children’s future and provide our customers with a monthly newsletter that includes important educational information on resource protection, conservation, and other current issues.

The Dedham-Westwood Water District is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to join their team. The pay rate for this position is $19.50 per hour, plus competitive benefits.

Job Responsibilities

• Support customer billing and collecting activities
• Prepare service orders
• Analyze customer accounts
• Prepare various records and reports
• Assist in scheduling meter readings
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• High School diploma or GED
• Previous experience handling customer inquiries and assuring customer satisfaction
• Basic experience with MS Office required; experience with utility billing preferred
• All candidates must be 18 years of age or older; driver’s license required
