Customer Service Rep – Logistics

The primaryrole of the Customer Service Representative is to provide superior customerservice by tracking and tracing shipments for the Radiant Brand Stations. This position will be responsible forensuring that the service level agreement of each shipment handled by any ofour Radiant Brand stations is met and will ensure prompt handling of anyexceptions. This includes but is not limited to timely telephoneand email communications with our stations operations teams on any service exceptionsfrom carriers involved in the transport of their shipments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure that customers’ expectationsare in line with Radiant service commitments and standards by possessing strongknowledge of company products and services.

Trace and monitor daily pick up anddeliveries. Communicate any servicerelated issues to the assigned Station Manager/Station support person.

Update each shipment with up to dateinformation based on customer service level agreement.

Pro-actively communicate with thecustomer and resolve issues related to deviations in service commitments.

Manage tracking, tracing, carriercosting, and POD entry.

Team member and internal customer of thePHX Shared Services Center.

Actively participate in thedevelopment procedures on how to handle communication with carriers / vendors.

Ensure that all shipper/carrier/vendorprofiles are complete and contain accurate information.

Respond and support Radiant brandstations to ensure the timely delivery of each shipment.

Manage the critical shipment updatesrequired to shorten the shipment to cash cycle.

OtherDuties/Responsibilities

Train on our new SAP TM platform.

Responsible for documenting process improvement opportunities that could improve system functionality such as carrier booking processes, EDI capability, and web services.

Dual work on our existing Cargowiseplatform and eventual transition to SAP TM as stations supported start tomigrate

Adhere to all company policies,procedures and guidelines, such as the Code of Conduct, assigned workschedules, and attendance requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Education and Industry Knowledge

High School Diploma

Transportation, and customer facingadministrative experience or related field is preferred.

Knowledge of North American geography

Computer Skills

Intermediate level – Must be proficientwith Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.

Working knowledge of transportationmanagement software is an asset

Business Strategy Skills

Strong customer service backgroundand awareness of the importance of both internal and external customers.

Ability to work independently and/oras part of team.

Must have excellent verbal andwritten communication skills, multi-lingual skills a plus.

Ability to organize, prepare, andexecute on short notice – react to Station needs.

Ability to recognize, prevent andresolve problem situations.

Ability to define problems collectsdata, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to work independently, but bea team player on all projects and initiatives.

Ability to work well under pressure. COMMUNICATION
