POSITION SUMMARY

The Customer Master Data Administrator position supports all Business Areas within North America and works closely with the Europe and Asia Customer Master Data Teams providing Global support and coverage, as needed.

Administrators are accountable for the creation and maintenance of all customer accounts, including Intercompany ship to, Plants/Warehouses, Subcontracting Vendors.
Administrators are further accountable for the creation and maintenance of pricing records, including various charges/surcharges as well as, customer contracts and formula escalation pricing.

Administrators are responsible to adhere to the Global data standards established for Customer Master and to understand the various work processes specific to each of Business Area and/or Region.
In understanding the SAP System requirements, the Administrators are the decision makers in when and how to link Customers and which data fields are required.
The Team also manages data quality reports to ensure data standards are being met – identify, investigate and resolve data gaps, identifying opportunities for process improvements.

This position works very closely with the Billing, Credit, Collections, Customer Service, Compliance/Regulatory, IT, as well as Commercial Teams including Sales, Sales Support, Marketing & Product Management.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Support Daily Operations

  • Responsible for executing department tasks to achieve team goals
  • Administration of Global Workbook requests, adhering to CMD Service Level Agreements
  • Administration of Non-Workbook request activities including, Lost Business, First Fill and Commission Customer Notification Letters
  • Program and administration of Contract Formula Escalations
  • Support after-hours coverage for business critical requests
  • Perform and adhere to SOX compliance requirements
  • Adhere to documented Global Data Standards for Customer, Price & Contract data
  • Adhere to documented region, business and/or customer specific process Job Aids for Customer, Price & Contract data, including verification of appropriate approvals
  • Perform various data quality checks, including investigation and remediation steps
  • Work closely with Global Customer Master Data and North America LB Sales Support Teams
  • Communicate and resolve cross functional process issues
  • Actively support & participate in projects commissioned to create, update or enhance Customer Data, Pricing and/or Contract Data, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and SAP releases

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have working knowledge of SAP
  • Strong computer skills including basic knowledge of Microsoft office tools
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills to interact with various departments/teams
  • Must be detail oriented with the ability to follow complex procedures
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills with the a
    bility to handle multiple competing priorities and meet required deadlines
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills
  • Must work well in a Team environment and be flexible to adapt with frequent change
  • Must be a self-starter who takes initiative in learning with ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities
  • Working hours: 40 hour work week
  • Order to cash process knowledge and/or
    Liquid Bulk Contract knowledge a plus
