Customer Care Specialist

Be a part of Service Operations – provide perfect service and guidance to members.

Humana is seeking a Customer Care Specialist for our call center to directly respond to questions, handle issues and provide guidance to both internal and external customers.

  • Receive, document and resolve customer inquiries by using established best practices
  • Build lasting relationships with Humana’s customers
  • Educate customers about Humana’s products and services over the telephone

Qualifications

Role Essentials

  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to handle a constant volume of phone inquires in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Must be available to work any shift between 8:00 am – 8:00 pm Monday thru Friday
  • Must be available to work overtime and weekends during peak season (October-March) or based on business need
  • Ability to speak and type simultaneously while using two or more computer programs
  • At least one year of customer service experience

Role Desirables

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Previous call center experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Previous experience in a medical office/facility
  • Background in healthcare

Reporting Relationships

  • You will report to a Frontline Leader. This area is under the leadership of the SVP & Chief Operating Officer.

Montage Voice allows us to quickly connect and gain valuable information from you pertaining to your relevant skills and experience at a time that is best for your schedule.

If you are selected for a first round interview, you will receive a correspondence inviting you to participate in a Montage Voice interview. In this interview, you will listen to a set of interview questions over your phone and you will provide recorded responses to each question. You should anticipate this interview to take about 15 to 30 minutes. Your recorded interview will be reviewed and you will subsequently be informed if you will be moving forward to next round of interviews.
