We are seeking a person that is proficient in various front-end web technologies (html5, javascript, css) and javascript frameworks (extjs, angular, react, nodejs). They have extensive experience developing scalable restful web services in Java, Python or similar.

The role provides an opportunity to establish the technical direction and lead the transformation of the client experience for the Custody & Fund Services web applications used by our clients and business.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new user-facing features

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services

• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds

• Strong understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3

• Strong experience writing REST web services in Java, Python

• Good understanding of AngularJS, ExtJs, React

• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX

• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues

• Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Grunt

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT, SVN, NPM

• Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance

• Plus: Spring, Tomcat , NodeJS
