Network Administrator

We are seeking a network/systems administrator for our organization. You’ll be supporting approximately 1500 users across all levels of the organization. The Network Administrator is responsible for the deployment, initial technical setup and ongoing maintenance of Cisco firewalls and switches and will be responsible for maintaining a windows server environment.

Responsibilities:

• Providing support to end users on a variety of hardware and software issues.
• Perform hardware installations, including but not limited to switches, routers, firewalls, WiFi access points and phones.
• Secure network (VLANS, subnets, VPNs, etc.) by developing network access, monitoring, control, evaluation, and maintaining documentation
• Maintain network performance by performing network monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning
• Configuration and management of Active Directory services, Print management, Group Policies
• Configuration and management of Vmware/Hyper V hosts along with virtual machines
• Configuration and management of Nas Strorage devices. IE Nimble, Dell Equalogic,etc
• Troubleshoot network problems and work with other individuals, teams, or vendor to resolve
• Updating inventory, managing licenses, and updating knowledgebase and Work Instructions.
• Travel to locations as needed to perform installs, repairs, troubleshooting
• Perform role of liaison between IT and external vendor to ensure that organizational needs are met,

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in network/server support services or a combination of progressive experience in network operations, network components, network protocols and network appliances, software and hardware (routers, switches, etc.)
• Cisco CCNA preferred
• Experience with MobileIron MDM a plus
• College degree in computer science or equivalent experience
