Creative Producer

The Jaguar Land Rover Tech Incubator encourages, promotes, and supports U.S.-based, early-stage software startups that are positioned to disrupt the world of connected cars and infotainment technologies. We’ll work with around 120 startups over the next decade, housing up to six companies at a time, and provide them with resources to get their ideas off the ground, succeed in an automotive environment, and keep Jaguar Land Rover customer offerings at the forefront of innovation.

We are seeking a talented Creative Producer for the Jaguar Land Rover Tech Incubator team. The core functions of the Creative Producer will be working with the Incubator team to develop video and photography-based content to support the needs for the startups in our program, as well as the Incubator as a whole. The videos and photography will be used to further the Incubator and startups’ business objectives and will include documentation of events, company showcases, POC (Proof of Concept) videos, and interviews. Secondary functions will include writing and editing, and production of print and digital marketing and PR collateral.

Under the direction of the Incubator General Manager, the Creative Producer will be responsible for coordinating all stages of video production and must be able to create, conceptualize, script, shoot and edit content that educates and informs the viewer, and/or tells a compelling story.

In addition to the duties of this role, you will work with the Incubator team as a whole, helping to define and implement day-to-day processes and operations of the program. We are a close-knit team, but work fairly independently so you must be resourceful, conscientious, and self-motivated.

Startups are constantly shifting, pivoting, and evolving, so you must be flexible, adaptable and able to hold tight to a positive attitude. Project management skills are also essential as you will be responsible for determining scope, timelines, and budgets.

What You’ll Do Daily:
Work cohesively with the OSTC Media Suite Team on production including scheduling the media suite, and requesting and procuring resources including cameras, lighting, and other equipment, cars, and support staff

Collaborate with startups, designers, and engineers to identify compelling story angles and bring them to life via video, photos, and words

Effectively communicate with startups and Technical Product Lead to define scope, objectives, and timelines

Manag e the video production process including creating schedules, tracking project progress, requesting resources, writing scripts, filming, and editing

Create photoshoots that showcase teams, products, and the Incubator environment and culture

Document internal and external Jaguar Land Rover events through video and photography

Establish and help enforce video and photography production guidelines to ensure quality and consistency

Work with incubator team to draft and edit blog posts, press releases, and content for marketing collateral to present to PR team

Engage with Jaguar Land Rover’s PR teams to ensure that all content adheres to the organization’s requirements and guidelines

Provide regular project status reports to stakeholders

What You Need for Success:
Capability to produce documentary style video and photographs that will help the Incubator and its startups achieve their core business goals

Ability to maintain quality and attention to detail while overseeing a variety of projects with varying production styles

Proven effectiveness and ingenuity when working under tight timelines and other constraints

Capacity to effectively and compellingly convey ideas and concepts both verbally and in writing

Dexterity to juggle multiple tasks with varying levels of priority

What We’d Like to See:
Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred

3 – 5 years experience in video production and photography, preferably in an agency setting

Expertise of the post-production process, including media management and encoding video to various formats

Advanced knowledge of photography and videography, motion graphics and creative lighting techniques

Proficiency in MS Office, WordPress, and Google products

Experience working with Startups
