Converse Financial Analyst

As a Financial
Analyst on the Global Converse , you will be
responsible for both supporting and driving forecasting, planning, and
consolidating the global business financials, and supporting key financial
processes and deliverables to Nike Inc.

Responsibilities :

• Perform and distribute timely
  and insightful financial analysis to determine progress against strategic
  plan, budget, forecast, and to support business decisions. Actively
  interpret and review monthly financial results with finance, project,
  and/or business partners, including trends/issues and opportunities, to
  drive actionable responses.

• Prepare management reporting
  and make recommendations on the business to the leadership team

• Monitor that working capital is
  efficiently and effectively being used (inventory and AR focus). Develop
  and monitor metrics focused on P&L, balance sheet, and free cash flow
  (such as CACC, ROIC).

• Participate in the strategic
  and business planning process from a financial perspective. Assist in the
  development of annual budgets that incorporate strategic business plan
  objectives and appropriate assumptions.

• Participate in functional
  discussions and initiatives across departments and provide input into
  business unit planning. Develop internal and external partnerships
  that leverage resources and improve business unit responsiveness.

• Ensure integrity of financial
  statements (management and statutory) and compliance with US GAAP

• Ad
  hoc (scenario analysis, Nike requests, internal updates, presentations)

• Bachelors degree in Finance,
  Accounting, or related field

• 0-3 years of relevant work
  experience

• Strong written and verbal
  communication skills

• Interacts well with diverse
  network of global business partners

• Solves complex problems; takes
  a new perspective using existing solutions

• Desire to drive efficiency,
  process improvement, and to enhance understanding of business drivers

• Strong working knowledge of
  Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

• Experience with Hyperion and
  SAP a plus
