Converse Finance Manager, FP&A

As
Finance Manager at Converse, you will be responsible for forecasting, planning,
and consolidating the revenue & margin for total Converse Inc.

  • Prepare and distribute timely
    and insightful financial analysis to determine progress against strategic plan,
    budget, forecast, and to support external financial decisions. Actively
    interpret and review revenue & margin results with regional finance
    leads, including trends/issues and opportunities, to drive actionable
    responses.
  • Perform analysis that aids in
    the decision making process, helps improve profitability, and including
    pricing. Monitors monthly progress against budgets/targets and works with
    finance partners to ensure accountability.
  • Execute the monthly reporting
    and forecasting analysis and present actionable items to senior
    leadership.
  • Participate in the strategic
    and business planning process from a financial perspective. Assist in the
    development of annual budgets that incorporate strategic business plan
    objectives and appropriate assumptions.
  • Participate in functional
    discussions and initiatives across departments and provide input into the
    global planning cycle. Develop internal and external partnerships that
    leverage resources and improve total Inc. responsiveness.
  • Prepare management reporting and
    make recommendations on the business to the leadership team
  • Participate in the Brand
    Business Planning team’s support of the Controlling team’s ultimate
    responsibility for the integrity of the financial statements (management
    and statutory) and compliance with US GAAP. Works with controlling team on
    the documentation of corporate and regional accounting policies and
    procedures.
  • Ad hoc (scenario analysis) to
    support effective leadership decisions.
  • Lead the building of new
    Business Objects reporting to drive improved analysis around pricing
    structure & margin management.
  • Bachelor’s
    degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 5-7
    years directly relevant work experience
  • Strong
    written and verbal communication skills
  • Interacts
    well with diverse network of business partners
  • Solves
    complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions
  • Desire
    to drive efficiency, process improvement, and to enhance understanding of
    business drivers
  • Strong
    working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience
    with Business Objects and SAP required
