But this is only the beginning, and we’re looking for top copywriting talent to tell our Uber story globally.As a copywriter on the Uber Marketing/Content team, you’ll craft & execute the voice and positioning of the Uber brand alongside exceptionally talented writers, designers, engineers, and performance marketers in a fast-paced, rapidly growing, highly collaborative environment. We are deeply user-centric and the challenges we tackle require bold ideas, creative problem solving, obsession with pursuing perfection, ownership, and fearlessness in the face of uncertainty. And sometimes, that means writing the style guide as you go.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop, write, and deliver persuasive marketing copy for uber.com, marketing campaigns, the blog, rider and driver guides —for hundreds of millions of riders and partners all over the world.
  • Build market awareness and drive engagement with a wide range of Uber products, services, and audiences (riders, drivers, B2B, developers).
  • Contribute to localization process, guidelines and materials of materials to ensure consistency across regions.
  • Include and optimize for SEO goals at all times.
  • Concept, champion, and execute on the BIG ideas while continuing to ship the day-to-day deliverables.
  • Imagine the future, articulate it and sell your ideas to get them built, designed and shipped.
  • Bring a high level of organization and structure, strategy, storytelling, writing techniques and personality to the Uber brand voice globally.
  • Lead other more junior copywriters when necessary. Develop templates & processes to aid scale and provide continuity.
  • Pitch and present to a variety of executive and peer audiences and defend your work.
  • Champion writing for the greater Uber community and articulate the Uber voice clearly through playbooks and best practices.
