Content Developer

The .NET and Web Development Content Team is looking for a Programming Writer who is passionate about modern cross platform application scenarios running on Windows, Linux, Android, macOS, and iOS using .NET Core, ASP.NET Core and C#.

We are looking for candidates that are great at problem-solving, critical thinking, paying careful attention to details, logical thinking, and who are highly technical. Those in the Project and Product Management/Development/Test/Support/Tech Community Evangelist disciplines are strongly encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

•One year of professional web programming experience with .NET or ASP.NET using C#.

•One year of excellent writing, communication, project management, and interpersonal skills.

•Writing experience may include blogs, articles, internal or external customer/community user documentation and other customer facing content.

•Experience with specifications, source code, and other resources.

•A proven track record of delivering great results under tight deadlines.

•Strong affinity for cross-group collaboration, negotiation, and organization skills.

•Strong customer focus and an understanding of how documentation is crucial to customers; success.

•Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member.

•Demonstrated skills in decision making, problem solving, and innovative thinking.

•A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technical Communications, or a related field, or equivalent programming experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

•Demonstrated involvement and positive impact in developer communities.

•Experience with any of these additional programming frameworks and tools: Xamarin, AngularJS and Docker.

•Experience with Git/GitHub and Markdown.
