Provide computer technical support for the AFSOC’s Air Force Special Operations Air Warfare Center (AFSOAWC). Non-CLS contract at Hurlburt Field, FL. This support covers personal computer hardware repair and replacement including motherboards, disk drives, memory, power supplies, CD/DVD-RW drives, and external peripherals. Install and configure operating systems and application software to include: Windows 7, Windows 10, MS Office 2013, and CBT applications. Perform personal computer software installation and troubleshooting, including knowledge of drivers. Responds to telephone calls and requests from customers looking for help with computer problems. Work with a customer involved in a classroom training environment by supporting Computer Based Training classrooms. Provide problem resolution for desktop support to internal clients in a Windows 7 or Windows 10 environment.

Must be capable of working in a fast paced environment and provide customer support with little or no supervision. Comply with site policies and procedures. Perform other duties as required.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Proven success in the following job competencies:

Ability to obtain Security + certification

Knowledge of Windows 7 and/or Windows 10 workstation software installation procedures and policies.

Selected applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

High school diploma

Team player with successful experience working in a diverse team environment

Must be able to obtain DoD SECRET clearance

Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds of equipment a distance of 25 feet

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Possess 3 yrs IT support as an administrator on a DOD system

Possess A+ and Security + certifications

Experience with VBscript, Power Shell Scripting, or command-line scripting.

Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA)

Ability to learn new technologies quickly

Basic knowledge of TCP/IP and switched networks

Experience working with a military customer

Active DoD SECRET clearance or equivalent

Associates degree in IT or CCAF equivalent highly desired.
