Computer Field Technician

• Full time / immediate job opening for a Computer Repair Technician in Philadelphia.
• Job Duties Includes:
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve user IT problems involving PCs, LAN infrastructure, and Microsoft Networking. The elements of these issues are typically Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, Group Policy, business applications, email, LAN and Internet connectivity, and printer operations.
• Provide basic administration and management of Windows servers
• Diagnose and remediate malware and virus issues.
• Assist with basic configuration and management of network devices such switches and routers.
• Configure and support mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones.
• Must be able to provide excellent customer service in person, via remote session, telephone or email.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks in an efficient, organized manner.
• Must be capable of full teardowns of laptops and desktops which includes replacing screens, dc jacks, and motherboards.
• Solid understanding of windows operating systems.
• Traveling to residential and commercial sites to perform job duties.
• Supporting a wide variety of hardware and software platforms including:
• Desktops, laptops, mobile devices, servers, printers, peripherals, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Active Directory, and MS Office 2010, 2013 and 2016

Job Requirements:

Must have excellent communication and troubleshooting skills

Must have good attention to detail

Must have a driver’s license and reliable vehicle (there will be mileage reimbursement)

Prefer to have A+ / Microsoft Certification or 2+ years experience relevant to the specific position

Basic networking skills

Strong computer aptitude

Candidates will need to pass a background check
