Compliance Lead

As a cornerstone member of our Compliance team you will be instrumental in defining how we think about security and compliance in a fast moving, ever changing environment. Your leadership in this role will have measurable results for our customers and how consumers view LiveRamp’s role as an industry leader in data stewardship.

By partnering with teams across LiveRamp, you will develop deep relationships and make a daily impact on our products.

You will:

  • Coordinate and lead a customer audit and then Scrum with co-located engineering teams to work through correcting audit findings
  • Author a forward thinking and flexible standard that meets/exceeds audit requirements
  • Engage in conversations with Legal, Data Ethics, Security, Product and Engineering to design a solution that thoughtfully balances customer needs, security, risk and privacy.
  • Help Product Managers understand non-functional requirements for their product and prioritize requirements against an existing backlog
  • Partner with the DevOps team (or other development teams) to review proposed designs for cloud implementations of our products and map existing physical datacenter controls to a cloud environment
  • Ensure that security controls that are implemented meet compliance requirements and balance the business need with the appropriate level of risk

About you:

  • At least 4 years experience in Security and/or Compliance
  • Expertise in SOC2, ISO 27001/2 (familiarity with PCI, FedRAMP, HIPAA a plus)
  • Strong desire to challenge assumptions and design common sense controls that satisfy the strictest auditors requirements
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively at an executive level and form strong working relationships across business, operational and technical functions
  • Deep understanding of Security and a strong desire to protect our company and our customers reputations
  • Strong desire to guide development and product teams to consider compliance by design
  • Experience with requirement gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, scheduling and cost controls

  • Expertise in Cloud infrastructure controls
  • Expertise in how an Agile Scrum environment maps to Compliance
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how to map compliance controls to them
  • Previous experience as an early hire in a compliance program
  • Experience in building, inspiring, and leading diverse and high-performing teams
  • Innovative problem solving and analysis skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and leadership skills.
