Basic Function:
The Compensation Analyst is responsible for performing analytical procedures for the administration of organization-wide compensation programs that are market competitive, internally equitable, and which effectively motivate employees to meet or exceed LMC service expectations. Advises managers, HR coworkers, employees and administrators in all HR practices that are tied to Compensation in order to provide information about regulations, policies and general support.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Human Resources, or related discipline. 0 – 4 years of experience within the Human Resource function Detail-oriented with excellent communication, problem solving, and analytical skills Identifiable skills in multi-tasking, time management skills, organizational Preferably proficiency in using HRIS systems, like PeopleSoft Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel formulas and PowerPoint Slides

Duties and Responsibilities: Works with compensation team in performing job analysis, participates in market surveys from third parties and maintains job descriptions Works in coordination with Compensation Team in administration of the annual merit review process to include assisting managers and supervisors with use of the performance evaluation system. Review and tracking of all submitted employee performance evaluations and auditing and follow up of outstanding evaluations. Recommends corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related problems Performs job analysis to determine appropriate range, etc. making recommendations in consideration of market data and internal equity. Recommends hiring salaries upon review of appropriate experience Analyze reports and recognize trends in order to make recommendations Research and resolve employee and manager questions Other duties as assigned.
