Communications Manager

Primary responsibility is to develop and execute a viable communications strategy for The Empowerment Church that appeals to all ages through multiple media sources, including, website, social media, web streaming, promotional videos, podcasts, radio, TV, church applications, mass mailings, brochures, and message reproduction.

General Responsibilities:

• Ensure brand consistency, coordination of messages, and the highest standards for external communications.
• Manage the development and content of the church website to ensure its currency.
• Manage and coordinate web streaming content with the Video Production Team
• Manage and coordinate all advertising and media productions.
• Manage and coordinate photographers and videographers.
• Manage and coordinate the weekly production, duplication, distribution and selling of DVD’s & CD’s.
• Manage the development and execution of weekly screen productions.
• Ensure that the Empowerment Church stays current and relevant with how and what we use for social media.
• Collaborate with the Senior Administrative Staff and Ministry Teams to develop promotional materials in support of the ministries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising/PR or other area similar to communications & 5+ years of suitable experience in the field.

Salary: $45,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year
