As part of our data analytics team, you will predominantly be involved in building analytics solutions by creating new and modifying existing solutions. You will stretch your skills and grow your careers as a primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting numerous data analytics applications consistent with the established specifications and business requirements in order to deliver business value.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop new ad-hoc reports as per state, federal and policy requirements
Automate data extractions and Load into reporting DB
Execute Weekly, Monthly, quarterly and annual reports

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of system analysis and programming experience on large scale systems, including working directly with customers to define their needs and product outputs satisfying those needs in a pre-determined time frame
3+ years of Cognos experience developing reports and dashboards, as well as knowledge of data warehousing concepts including dimensional data modeling
2+ years of combined or separate experience with Java, J2EE, COBOL, and/or DB2 programming
5+ years of system analysis and programming experience on large scale systems, including working directly with customers to define their needs and product outputs satisfying those needs in a pre-determined time frame

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Science, or related field
Health care industry experience, especially Medicaid
Business Intelligence Reporting using Tableau
Familiar with Medicaid, TANF, SNAP and other State programs
Strong understanding of relational databases and database structures
Experience using BI / DW tools: Tableau, Cognos, Teradata, Oracle, SAS, MS Excel
Experience working in fast paced environment
Familiarity with the full SDLC and Agile methodologies
Exposure to Predictive modeling techniques
Experienced in documenting business requirements and/or functional specifications in a data warehousing environment
An understanding of a variety of modeling and/or diagramming techniques, with the ability to create process flow diagrams and the ability to read data flow and entity relationship models
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, SharePoint)
