V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a COBOL Mainframe Programmer for our premier client in Milwaukee, WI . This is a 12+ month contract position.

Description

THE WORK YOU’LL DO »

• Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging, and installing for a large-scale mainframe computer system
• Maintain and develop online and batch application programs
• Develop and implement a disaster recovery plan
• Work with project members to develop specifications, diagrams, and flowcharts
• May provide consultation on complex projects and will be considered the top-level contributor/specialist

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND TRAINING »

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree with least 8-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. CGI Advantage experience is highly desirable.
