Position:
As a SMB Professional Services Implementation Consultant 1 you will deliver training and implementation assistance to new Revel clients all over the globe. You will train clients, remotely as well as onsite, on the proper techniques for installing Revel’s iPad POS in addition to providing training on the use of the software. You will consult and partner with clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of workflow, business/technical requirements and needs to ensure that the knowledge transfer addresses client’s needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional services such as hardware installation, consultation on site requirements, and education to clients on use of POS system.
  • Schedule and conduct all paid services of training per month and maintain an organized training/implementation schedule.
  • Assure client satisfaction and successful implementation.
  • Understand clients’ business processes and assess and identify best practices for system use.
  • Play an active role in troubleshooting client issues, or work with the Support or Development departments to resolve.
  • Keep up to date on administrative tasks such as documenting client issues, communicating agendas, submitting trip reports, timesheets and weekly expense reports, and updating systems-related client activity.
  • Communicate effectively and timely with consultant 2 on availability and installation schedule.
  • Physical Requirement- Must be able to occasionally lift 25 lbs and able to stand on feet for extended periods of time. Some physical labor is required to complete hardware installations that can include but not limited to crawling, lifting, using small tools and cleaning up after job site.”

Qualifications:

  • The ability to solve technical problems, dive in to software
  • BA/BS degree required
  • Outstanding communication skills – able to communicate with all levels of an organization and colleagues
  • Basic networking knowledge
  • Previous POS experience preferred
  • Excel in a fast-pace environment while delivering high standard results
  • High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • The ability to travel overnight to client sites throughout your region
  • Familiarity and ease with computer systems and common software products
  • A Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • 1-3 years experience with technical training and/or technical customer service experience or implementation
