Client Liaison

Stratagem Consulting Group , LLC , a full-service government relations and business development firm is seeking a Client Liaison. This position reports to the Partners and is primarily responsible for ensuring quality services are delivered effectively and timely to clients in the Chicagoland area.

Client Liaison Roles and Responsibilities

Monitors state and county legislation to identify client priorities

Develops, cultivates and manages high-level relationships with elected officials, policymakers and allied organizations

Drafts correspondences, policy communications and public comments as needed; other research, policy, writing and other support as needed

Represents client policy positions at meetings and public/conference presentations as assigned

Proactively communicates with clients to meet needs, support and assistance; provides daily/weekly clients updates, schedules, and contact reports

Liaison between partners and clients to align expectations and ensure the client goals are effectively communicated and executed

Creates, manages and keeps all parties accountable for timelines and deliverables

Various duties as assigned by the partners

Requirements

• Lobbying experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in public relations or political science or similar field
• Knowledge of lobbying disclosure and reporting
• Attention to detail, and strong analytical abilities
• Able to work independently
• Able to work well in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines
• Travel to Springfield, IL during session is required
