Where you come in!

We’re looking for an experienced City Operations Manager to join the team at Stay Alfred. The City Operations Manager position is one of our most challenging and impactful positions we offer. We are looking for a leader that will live in Boise, and embodies the amazing guest experience. The “whatever it takes to get it done” attitude is what it takes to be successful. You’ll need to have a world-class understanding of organization, time-management, self-starter abilities, property management, and ability to operate independently with oversight of your local city staff. Responsibilities include:

• Meet with and assist guests, solve last-minute problems, act proactively on any potential challenges with the guest experience
• Hire, manage, schedule and supervise staff in a hospitality environment
• Create/Manage/Maintain vendor relationships with housekeeping companies, linen/laundry vendors, maintenance workers, handymen, plumbers, etc.
• Be prepared to move quickly, wear many hats, and fill in where needed
• Build relationships with our property managers, leasing staff and building staff
• Manage and inventory all of the key systems in your city. Including keypads, locks, key access boxes
• Audit product/property for accuracy, including arrival and departure instructions
• Ensure any maintenance or repairs are scheduled around our guests, and ensure units are to standards after any maintenance
• Communicate daily with corporate personnel with product/process needs and setting strategies for you and your team
• Responsible for city P&L reports
• Understand and practice local and state regulations pertaining to rentals
• Ensure property appearance according to the Unit Setup and Cleaning Guide.
• Coordinate unit setups, to include decorating, moving companies, cleaners and photographers

Qualifications:

• 3 – 5 Years of Management Experience required
• Minimum 3 Years of Hospitality/Hotel Experience required
• Experience in successfully leading a team while managing complex projects
• Ability to work, communicate, engage and build effective relationships
• Operate independently and thrive in a remote location, without local oversight, while projecting strong, confident, leadership with influencing, motivating and problem solving skills
• Availability to work weekends and holidays
• Be resourceful and comfortable in a dynamic work environment.
• Ability to travel between multiple locations within the Boise downtown area
