Central Scheduler, FT

Primary function is to schedule patients for out-patient diagnostic testing. Physician offices will call or utilize order facilitator to schedule procedures, The scheduler will then complete the process in a timely and courteous manner. Monitors orders and pre-certifications on a daily basis to assure physician office satisfaction. Maintains a high quality of customer service.

Qualifications

Education:

– High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

– Minimum 1 year hospital/medical office experience require.

– A good understanding of medical terminology and Imaging procedures required.

– Knowledge of computers and other standard office equipment required.

– Minimum 6 months customer service required.

– Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute required.
