Cash Application Specialist

Position Title: Cash Application Associate
Reports to: Accounts Receivable Supervisor
Location: Freeport, IL
Job Summary & Duties

This associate is responsible for ensuring the accurate application and clearing of customer payment (lockbox, ACH, wire transfers) of invoices using SAP transactions. The Cash Application Associate reconciles all customer payments to ensure that Accounts Receivable are accurately reflected, and makes manual entries and adjustments as needed to account for short pays and deductions from invoiced amounts. Responsibilities require functional expertise in accounting, strong collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate has the ability to learn quickly and deliver outstanding results through strong analytical skills, problem solving skills, communication, interpersonal effectiveness, and business acumen.
