Capital Markets Intern

Seeking a current college student looking for exposure to real estate capital markets, underwriting and analysis. The position entails researching, analyzing and contacting Potential bond issuers throughout the United States, Canada and UK. The primary focus is to identify companies within real estate, finance and other cash flowing businesses that can reasonably project free unencumbered cash. Based upon a set of financial and qualitative criteria to issue public debt on the real Aviv stock exchange. US companies have raised over $7bn to date; 3bn by of which in the last 12 months. This market offers portfolio financing solutions for businesses looking to recapitalize their businesses while also seeking growth debt capital. This is an opportunity that has a path to full time employment.

The team lead is a CPA who spent 2 years at Ernst and Young in their asset management practice and then 2 stunts at billion dollar multi strat and long short equity hedge funds. He was brought to Berko to grow the global capital markets platform.
