West Oaks Hospital has been faithfully serving Houston and the
surrounding communities for over 30 years. West Oaks, located in
southwest Houston, is a fully accredited 144 bed acute care facility
and 16 bed adult CD residential facility dedicated to the provision
of quality care and assistance for individuals and families in need
of psychiatric care and treatment for substance abuse. West Oaks
Hospital offers the community a broad range of inpatient, partial
hospitalization and intensive outpatient services for children,
adolescents and adults. We also offer residential adult chemical
dependency services. West Oaks Hospital is available 24 hours a day,
seven days a week for any questions or inquiries about our
programs.

POSITION SUMMARY
The
Call Center Specialist receives calls from referral sources for
psychiatric assessment, takes demographic information on the person
to be assessed, and dispatches a Mobile Assessment Team
Evaluator. Thorough and accurate documentation of calls and
other related paperwork is a critical component of the job. In
addition, Call Center Specialist will assist Mobile Assessment Team
Evaluator with clerical portion of transfer or commitment
process.

EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED.
Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or Social
Services field preferred.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
N/A

EXPERIENCE
Requires six
months of customer Service and/or call center experience. Prefers
knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment, psychiatric
diagnoses symptomology.
