C#, VB.NET, T-SQL Developer – Factory Floor Automation

Aavalar Consulting has been retained by one of its many clients to provide a mid level software developer for factory floor automation applications. This individual will develop software that logs data which is collected fromautomated manufacturing systems and providesa reporting and monitoring interface. This is a great opportunity for someone who has4+ years of experience developing MS Windows and or Web based applications in C# or VB.NET and T-SQL.

Position Title: Software Engineer

Work Location: Western Suburbs of Philadelphia

Work environment:
Office and/or lab in a suburban office park.

This group is fairly small… less than six

Projects involved with:
Various custom implementations as specified by our client’s customers.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop and implement application level,middleware anddatabase code forManufacturing Execution Systems (MES), as well as real time Process Control and SCADA systems.

Required Skills / Experience:
4+years of .NET Development experience including C# or VB.NET

Solid development experience with SQL Server Databaseusing Transact SQL (T-SQL)

Data ETL / manipulation experience

Experience with WonderWare Archestra

Minimum BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar degree.

Really strong communication skills both verbal and written.

Desired Skills:
Solid knowledge of XML

Experience with data acquisition and reporting

Experience with process control, automation, etc.
